Express Entry is the quickest way for foreign nationals to obtain permanent residence in Canada. There are three federal programs managed through the Express Entry system:

Federal Skilled Workers
Canada offers this program for skilled workers with foreign work experience who want to immigrate to Canada permanently. The application under this program is based on various factors which include, but are not limited to age, education, work experience, and English and or French language skills.
Federal Skilled Trades
The Federal Skilled Trades Program is designed for skilled workers who want to become permanent residents based on their qualification(s) in a skilled trade. The application under this program is assessed on the factors that include but are not limited to work experience, age, education, employment, language ability and adaptability.
Canadian Experience Class
The Canadian Experience Class program is designed for skilled workers who have Canadian work experience and want to become permanent residents. The applicants under this class must meet the minimum criteria set by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
